We welcome collaboration and if you are interested in collaborating with us on our ongoing projects or potentially shared interest, please drop me an email manling.li@northwestern.edu. If you are interested in some specific project in our lab, please also feel free to directly talk with the leading PhD student:)
PhD Students
We welcome PhD students to join our lab! If you are interested, please apply to Northwestern CS (deadline: Dec 1st, but application will be open until Dec 15) and make sure to select Manling Li as your potential advisor in the application. Due to the high volume of inquiries, individual emails will not be able to receive a response, but it does NOT mean we are not interested. All applications will be carefully reviewed in late December, with interviews conducted from January to March.
Northwestern Students
Students interested in joining our Lab are also encouraged to do independent study (please feel free to attent Manling's office hour on Monday morning 9:00-10:00 in Mudd 3201) or take our CS_496 course (Agent AI / Large Agent Models) or CS_396 (Reasoning and Planning in Foundation Models). The course provides training on cutting-edge foundation models. Course assignments involve building your own RL agent, giving you hands-on experience with the basic research skills.
